The Union of Women Employers of Yerevan and the Regions is an association of women - heads of enterprises and firms in Armenia.

Women's entrepreneurship in Armenia is gradually gaining momentum, becoming a modern trend, and contributing to the growth of the economy. Women entrepreneurs successfully participate in all sectors of the economy - production, textile industry, agricultural processing, IT technologies, financial structures, services - medical, hygienic / sports profile, and of course, social significance - these are kindergartens, schools, etc.

At the same time, they have a significant contribution to employment, employment - the creation of jobs, which is today a social problem at the state level. The proportion of women who want to open their own business is steadily growing, there is a need to support such a women's initiative. And we are ready, to the best of our ability, to provide all possible support to women from all cities and villages of Armenia.

However, ZhB needs additional attention and assistance from the state. At the same time, a number of programs to support women's initiatives are functioning on the part of non-governmental organizations with the financial support of international donor organizations.

Mission

Creation of an organized platform of Women Entrepreneurs, where sincere, trust-based relationships between people who support and care for each other.

Vision

''The Union of Women Employers of Yerevan and Adjacent Regions'' was founded in 2013, it is a non-profit organization, it is a legal entity.

The Union organizes and carries out its activities on the basis of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, the Civil Code of the Republic of Armenia, the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On Unions of Employers", international treaties of the Republic of Armenia and its charter.

The Union operates on the basis of the principles of legality, publicity, self-government and voluntary membership and withdrawal from the Union. The Union carries out its activities independently of state bodies and local self-government bodies, trade unions, parties and other organizations.

The subject of the Union's activity is:

protection of the rights of its members in relations with state bodies and local governments, trade unions, labor collectives and employees,
representation of the legitimate interests of its members in labor and directly related socio-economic relations,
protect the economic, legal and other legitimate interests of its members in the republic and in foreign countries.

Main goals

The goals of the Union are to contribute and support:

in the formation of an organized platform for business women who are ready to implement their creative ideas, move up the career ladder, develop their professional abilities and experience in the social and economic spheres of society,
in the development of the Armenian economy, the creation of favorable conditions for their activities,
coordinating the interests of employees and employers in collective labor relations, compliance by the parties and their representatives with the requirements of labor legislation and other regulatory legal acts,
training and education of personnel with characteristics that meet modern requirements,
publication of information about economic activity,
sales of products and services of business entities in the domestic and foreign markets, the purchase of raw materials, market research, as well as the organization of exhibitions and fairs,
re-equipment with modern equipment, technologies and management methodology,
association of women entrepreneurs in Yerevan and other cities of the republic, as well as the association of opportunities for women employers in Diaspora, Artsakh.
